Nearly everyone likes meatballs. I was in search of a meatball that was different and did not involve any filler (breadcrumbs). I have been on a bit of a curry kick lately, which has yielded these delicious meatballs!

These cookies are a tradition with our family – we bake at least one batch every Christmas. We have a large Christmas party (75-100 people) and there would be mutiny if we did not serve these cookies.
I had this Chilean-inspired stew on a cool evening at a little bay-front hotel restaurant in South San Francisco. I was going to wait until the weather cooled to make it at home, but then got impatient, and made it on a 100-degree day. It was still good!
Chicken thighs are underappreciated. They have more flavor, are easier to keep moist, and are half the price of breast meat!
We once had a friend stay over (after a few beers the night before) and I made egg tacos in the morning. The friend asked, “how do you get so much flavor into eggs?”. Those particular eggs tacos only had cheese, cilantro, and hot sauce on them… so simple!
This salad is super easy, fresh, and light. It is a great barbecue/picnic option if you don’t have a lot of time or cooking skill. You do need to plan ahead a bit though… it really is better after chilling a few hours with the dressing.
I got married last month… and made 150 cake pops for the wedding reception (in addition to purchased cupcakes). This might make me sound a bit crazy, but I thought paying $3 per cake pop was even crazier.
Summer parties usually call for green, pasta, or potato salad. I had been looking for something different for a few months and finally found it.
It is nice to indulge a bit for a special occasion (Super Bowl, March Madness, block party, etc.) and party dips definitely fit the bill. This dip is flavorful, creamy, and packed with veggies!
