Hash browns are definitely a weekend favorite of mine. Last Easter, I was looking for quiche recipes and came across one with a hash brown crust… perfect! Asparagus is one of the best spring veggies in my opinion, so that was a natural choice. And gruyere? Awesome in anything melt-y.

This doozy of a beer is very lovely to drink. I first had it on draft at Whole Foods then bought a bomber at a local market. It is very strong, so I usually switch to something else after just one, but it is definitely a beer I will buy again. I have only had this beer a few times ever, but it has definitely risen in my list of favorites.
The first sausage and peppers sandwich I can remember having was only a couple of years ago – in Raleigh. There was a little Italian place we would go sometimes for lunch… the combination of spicy, tangy, and a hint of sweet is so delicious. The flavors work very naturally for a hearty pasta dish.
